Lockdown Rockers
Music video for U-KEY, shot in Bangkok under lockdown.
In June 2021, U-KEY, an artist based in Bangkok, sent me a message: he was filming a music video but had never edited video before. Could I help?
I'd seen him around a shop we both knew, so I went straight to his place. There wasn't enough footage to cover the whole song, so I told him we needed to shoot more, and that I'd help with the shoot too.
Sukhumvit Road was jammed with traffic while downtown sat silent under COVID restrictions. We caught a Bangkok that only existed for those few months.
Shot and edited with iPhone 11, DJI Pocket 2, Final Cut Pro and Procreate.
